I am 20 years old and have lived in Rocklin for a little over a year. I was born and raised in Antelope. I graduated from Woodcreek High School in 2006 and just finished my second year at Sierra. This summer will be my last semester. I will be transferring to Sac State in the fall, majoring in Child Development. My ultimate goal is to become a third grade teacher. I absolutely love children. Ever since I could remember being a teacher has always been my passion. I work at an after school day care with children ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I absolutely love my job. Working with kids everyday really does test your patience and puts a lot of stress on you, but at the end of the day I am satisifed with my job, which is not something everyone can say.
In my spare time, which I don't have a whole lot of, I love just being able to hang out with my amazing friends or my boyfriend. I love watching sports, especially football. I am just counting down the days til September gets here. I am a pretty easy going person and it takes a lot for someone to make me mad. I love life and I am just blessed with an amazing support group around me and a wonderful life.

I think it's awesome that you want to be a 3rd grade teacher and that you love kids so much. My sister-in-law teaches 3rd grade and she LOVES it! I think you'll find it very fulfilling. Good luck!
Child Developement is awesome!!! We need alot more people like you who have the time and patience to work with children and help them! And who is your favorite football team? (we will see if we are friend or foe on the field ;-P)
Talk to you soon.
Good for you! I have 2 kids of my own, and just having them drives me up the wall. There's no way I could handle much more than that =]
I agree that children really do test your patiences. I have 6 children that test my everyday. What made you decide to want to teach third graders. Well good luck in your studies and thank you for wanting to brighten up the future. I just wonder if your will to teach children would change if you had 6 of them...lol.
Hey Hey Hey,
SOOO my favorite team...HMMM PATS...and I am a little UPSET they lost. I cried it was very emotional for me. But I guess that was their fault they screwed up so many times. So how are you liking the class up till now?
